We had an amazing experience with Amedea! She guided us with our baby's lip and tongue tie release. She prepared us on what to expect with the release and gave us many useful tips. She even offered us to drop by for the few weeks post release to check on how the healing is going. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions very patiently. When I first heard about Amedea, it was in the capacity of her treatment of babies. More than one friend had mentioned she was the best around when it came to infantcare. What I learned first-hand? She’s the best, period.

To explain: I’ve been plagued with severe back issues since 2009, when I broke a vertebrae in my neck. Trust me when I say I’d tried everything—orthopedic surgeons, physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, chiropractic, you name it. Most treatments would work for a few days, then the pain would come surging back. Only when I began working with Amedea three years ago did my symptoms truly abate. What she does is subtle but extraordinary—namely, not only treat the immediate symptom but the underlying issues so that the body learns how to re-regulate rather than re-injure.

Although she’s hardly woo-woo, Amedea treats the whole person. She listens carefully, thoroughly explains her assessment, will not end a session until she’s sure she’s done all she can, and modulates her approach based on the person with whom she’s working. (I know this because I’ve sent her many friends, with a wide range of backgrounds and medical issues, and they’ve also benefited enormously from her work.)

As a woman in her 50s, I tend to be skeptical of all medical practitioners, but I can report that Amedea’s compassion, integrity, and skillset is next-level. Over the years, she has not only successfully treated my back, but has lessened the long-term impact of viral loads and even helped me navigate the hormonal journey of menopause. Bottom line? I cannot recommend this practitioner highly enough.

I am so incredibly grateful for Amedea and the work she did with my infant daughter. My daughter had four oral ties released, but we were still noticing patterns of tension and she was having difficulty feeding. We had seen another craniosacral practitioner, but I was not seeing much progress, so I made an appointment with Frame.

Amedea is extremely skilled and knowledgeable. She also explains things in a calm and relatable manner that is easy for anxious parents to understand. I cannot say enough positive things about Amedea and Frame Therapeutics.
I was referred by a friend when I noticed my 2.5 month old's head was becoming flat on one side. The pediatrician diagnosed with torticollis, and just recommended that we see a neurosurgeon for an evaluation of whether he needed a helmet.

However, Amedea was the person who really explained what was going on, and worked closely with me and with the infant to provide care that would strengthen his neck muscles and end his side preference. Not only is she great at what she does - as a first-time mom, the sessions were a highlight of my week. I felt such calm guidance and reassurance from Amedea, who had great advice on all things newborn. She was so warm and gentle with the baby and so clear with me. She also helped me to understand that whether or not we went with a helmet for cosmetic reasons, the stretching and bodywork that she was doing was what would really provide relief and prevent future developmental issues for our baby. I am happy to report that you cannot notice a side preference now at 9 months. She is amazing!

Amedea has treated both our kids when they were a few months old and she was absolutely wonderful. One of our kids needed help with his skull as we wanted to avoid having him wear a helmet. After a few sessions and some great tips we were able to avoid the helmet. About a year later she helped us with our newborn, he was having some terrible constipation and less than an hour after the treatment/session he soiled his diaper. Moms if you need any help with your babies or toddlers Frame is the best place to take them.
