My fiancé and I were looking for some pre-marital guidance and counseling, and we we're so impressed with Mary Kay's career and she seemed to align with our values around truly and deeply connecting in partnership and so we poked around on her website and found that she was holding an intensive couples' retreat in Montecito and we decided that that might be a great place for us to start our intentional journey together. Just prior to the weekend, we tragically lost my father-in-law and Mary Kay graciously let us bow-out of that weekend and let us attend the next retreat a couple months later instead.

If Mary Kay's gracious nature wasn't enough, we were blown away by the weekend's experience. We arrived to a warm welcome by Mary Kay and the retreat's host Dorit. Mary Kay made us immediately feel comfortable, seen & held. Pretty soon upon arrival my fiancé and I were learning more about one another and about our partnership, just by the simple yet profound questions that Mary Kay asked in getting to know us. Each day was filled with deep and invaluable work, and I came away utterly impressed by Mary Kay's other-worldly ability to "tap-in" to each of our wounds, fears, and true hopes and dreams together. Without a doubt Todd and I are walking into a more intentional marriage thanks to Mary Kay. We will be forever grateful for our time at the retreat and we can't wait to continue our work with her as we grow!

She walked us through the science behind relationships and taught us so much about the importance to creating an environment for open communication. She was so lovely and her energy is infectious.
