My experience with St George Wellness centre has been a positive one.
Darlene and the office staff are very efficient at accommodating your concerns.

I have had pelvic floor therapy with Komal. I also saw Komal for physiotherapy on my hips and legs. She is very knowledgeable in both types of treatment.

Several months ago Darlene suggested I try osteopath. This procedure has been so successful, I cannot believe it took so long to find it.
I am seeing Jan, one of the osteopaths at the centre.
I highly recommend osteopath for anyone who has muscle and tension issues. The relief could be instant.

I love that St George Wellness Centre is a part of our community. The convenience cannot be beat. The staff is wonderful and the therapists are great.

My wife booked a treatment to see Jan (Osteopath). When submitting the treatment through Canada Life benefits plan after the session we found out the 'the practitioner's qualifications aren't covered through the plan'. Upon calling the clinic to enquire, they informed me that there is a sign up in the clinic to inform patients of this. My issue was that when booking online there is no mention of this, it mentions he "completed the four-year program as an Osteopath in 2018". Furthermore, there was no verbal screening by the reception staff or the practitioner as a courtesy to ask whether their EHB plan was through Canada Life, who for some reason are more specific on what qualifies as an 'Osteopath' through their plan. My wife didn't see the sign, and it would have altered her decision to book. Having run rehab clinics all of my career, I don't think this experience was handled well by the clinic management or the clinician, either before or after the treatment took place.

After recently moving to St. George, I decided to try a local physiotherapy clinic. I’ve been a patient at Movement Solutions in Waterdown for over 10 years, both pre- and post-knee surgeries, and thought I’d explore a closer option.

The admin staff were wonderful—super friendly and helpful in scheduling my appointment. The staff, in general, were welcoming. I had an initial assessment before my wedding and honeymoon due to unexpected pain in my left knee. Given my background as a kinesiologist and my history with knee injuries, I suspected a left meniscal tear.

The appointment was supposed to last 45-50 minutes, but I was in and out in about 15. The physiotherapist confirmed my suspicion but chose not to treat me because I was going away for 9 days. I was advised to wear good shoes and ice the area, which I was already doing. No other alternatives were offered, and there was no hands-on treatment. While I understand that assessments/patient health history can take up the entire initial appointment, it felt rushed, and I didn’t feel like my concerns were fully addressed. I didn't feel like the physio was very thorough & didn't take any care.

She mentioned that if I felt fine after my trip, there was no need to return, despite me explaining that I live with chronic pain due to 7 knee surgeries and osteoarthritis.

Overall, I was disappointed with the experience and will be returning to my original physiotherapists who have always shown genuine care for my pain and well-being. As someone who has worked in healthcare, I had hoped for a better experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this clinic for physiotherapy.

I was very happy with my treatment through St. George Wellness. I started going to this clinic when I had a recurring knee injury that wouldn’t go away. After 6 weeks of treatment with Komal (physiotherapist), my pain is gone and my knee is stronger than it has been in years!
The support staff were always very friendly and well organized, making my trips to the clinic very efficient and pleasant.

I started Physio because my shoulder was very stiff, sore and had very limited movement after surgery that I had.
Komal was my therapist. She was very patient, professional and knowledgeable. I went from thinking I would never get better to getting so much better with my regular visits. They helped me so much.
I would highly recommend going to Komal and The Wellness Centre for any treatments.

I started coming to St George Wellness about 1.5 ago for Chiropractic care. I was desperate. I quite literally couldn’t move my neck one day I was in so much pain. I called St George Wellness, and by some miracle Dr Shauna had a cancellation and was able to see me the same the same day for assessment. Upon meeting her, and the seeing the special care that she took for a new client. I knew I was where I belonged! A year and a half later… I have no pain. Dr Shauna was able to correct my major back problems, and maintain it now so I don’t have to be in pain anymore. Dr. Shauna is not only there for my physical chiropractic journey, but she really genuinely cares for each and every one of her patients. I’m so thankful for her and her staff!

I recently needed immediate care and extra help due to injury that crippled my movements. I’ve received excellent care from Physio, Osteo and Masseuses as well as a very helpful front desk. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing!!!! The staff are so supportive and helpful. I went in for physiotherapy on my shoulder and now feel great. The staff were super friendly and show genuine concern for helping me feel better. Also a great plus was that they directly billed my benefits plan so I did not need to pay and submit my receipts for reimbursement. I whole heartedly recommend the wellness centre
